Pure Love is doing
whatever is best for the other person. You can call
it also “Real Love”, “True
Love” or “Chastity”. If you really
love someone you would not want to rob him/her of his
or her gift of purity. You are called to give yourself
totally for your future spouse or your spouse now if
you are married just like Jesus did on the cross.
When
you think about whatever is best for your friend who
you might be attracted to and respect his/her honor,
dignity and purity, this will give both of you an unsurpassable
joy and freedom. For a young unmarried person, a life
of Pure Love is a life of total commitment and self-giving
to the person’s future spouse. For a married person
a life of Pure Love is a life of total commitment and
self-giving to the person’s spouse. We realize that you are under a lot of pressure today
to sin and to lose your gift of purity
Unlike all the lies that young
people hear on TV and from peer pressure, this kind
of life is possible and
it’s the only kind of life that can give young
people a life of utmost joy, the joy promised by Christ.
It’s also the kind of life that will lead to a
holy marriage and holier and healthier families.
