- The idea has to start with a family that has a passion
for the chastity and the pro-life movement.
- Approach your pastor with the idea of starting first
as a chastity prayer group
- Once you get the support of your pastor, ask him or a
deacon, or a youth minister or any other person
with a passion for the Pure Love movement and who is versed
in the Bible and has a deep love for the church
and absolute allegiance to the teachings of the Church magisterium
to be the coordinator of the group.
- Set up weekly chastity focused prayer meetings for one
hour a week. Pick a day and time that you think
is convenient for people and ask the pastor to make an announcement
in the church for High School, college and graduate
students and any young adult interested.
- The agenda for the one hour meeting should be as
follows:
- Read and reflect on next
Sunday’s Gospel
readings for about 15 minutes.
- Have a chastity discussion
led by the coordinator or any emerging Pure Love
Apostles based
on material from Jason Evert’s (the Pure
Love booklet and his new book “If you Really
Loved Me” http://www.catholic.com/chastity.asp,
or Mary Beth’s book, “Real Love” www.reallove.net
- End the meeting with a Bible Trivia game. Divide
the group into teams. Give the winning team prayer
cards
with pictures of saints.
